PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and/or non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, containing bacterial complex including photosynthetic bacteria as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The therapeutic agent for the non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and/or the non-alcoholic steatohepatitis includes the bacterial complex comprising the photosynthetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria and yeast as an active ingredient. The photosynthetic bacteria are preferably Rhodopseudomonas palustris. The bacterial complex comprising the photosynthetic bacteria, the lactic acid bacteria and the yeast act as probiotics, and mitigate the symptom of hepatitis induced by methionine-choline-deficient diet by being orally administered. When the bacterial complex is administered to a leptin receptor-deficient mouse, a serum insulin level can be reduced.【課題】光合成細菌を含む複合菌を有効成分とする非アルコール性脂肪性肝疾患および／または非アルコール性脂肪肝炎の治療薬を提供する。【解決手段】光合成細菌と乳酸菌と酵母とからなる複合菌を有効成分とする非アルコール性脂肪性肝疾患および／または非アルコール性脂肪肝炎の治療薬である。前記光合成細菌は、ロドシュードモナス・パルストリスであることが好ましい。光合成細菌と乳酸菌と酵母とからなる複合菌はプロバイオティクスとして作用し、経口投与することでメチオニン・コリン欠乏食で誘発された肝炎症状を緩和し、レプチンレセプター欠損マウスに投与すると血清インスリン値を低下させることができる。【選択図】なし
