PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suppressing harsh taste sensed when a vegetable beverage is taken while keeping delicacy of the vegetable contained in the vegetable beverage.SOLUTION: Milk sugar is added to a vegetable beverage containing the vegetable as an additive agent. Although harsh taste tends to be sensed, especially when the vegetable beverage of leaf vegetables, root vegetables, fruit vegetables and stalk vegetables are taken, while the harsh taste becomes hard to be sensed when taken if the milk sugar is added. In the vegetable beverage with the milk sugar added so as to make the content of the milk sugar in the vegetable beverage more than 0.05 mass%, less than 4.0 mass%, delicacy of the vegetable is sufficiently kept, and the harsh taste is hard to be sensed when taken.
