PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a high hand sensitivity so that it can sense the motion or the like of the decoy fish easily by the hand.SOLUTION: A cylindrical body 2 made of titanium or a titanium alloy is connected to the vicinity of a butt while exposing the range which is gripped by two or three fingers including a ring finger and by a portion of a palm. Moreover, it is advisable that the total length of the cylindrical body 2 does not exceed the range which is gripped by all fingers and the entirety of a palm.
