PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer which does not require the work of arranging filters and changing the filters and permits the number of parts to be reduced and has a lightweight and compact cuff portion which can be simply folded when it is not put to use.SOLUTION: The electronic sphygmomanometer 1 includes the cuff portion 2 as a cylindrical body which can pass through the upper arm and can be folded and a sphygmomanometer body 10. The cuff portion 2 and the sphygmomanometer body 10 are formed separately. The cuff portion 2 has a blood blocking airbag 14 pressurizing the upper arm T by supplying air, a butting cloth portion 17 made of a cylindrical body covering the inside of the blood blocking airbag 14 and butting against the side of the upper arm T which is to be measured and an outside member 16 joined to the outside of the butting cloth portion 17 so as to store the blood blocking airbag 14.
