PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification technology capable of more efficiently removing organic compounds such as volatile organic compounds contained in air.SOLUTION: An air purification device has a cylindrical body 1 which is arranged so that its axis faces upper and down and has, in a bottom surface 1A, a plurality of openings 1Aa through which air and liquid can flow, and in which a plurality of porous bodies 2 are laminated. A bacterial solution 4 containing aerobic bacteria capable of decomposing organic substances is continuously or intermittently dropped into the cylindrical body 1 from the upper side to the lower side of the cylindrical body 1 to wet a plurality of porous bodies 2 with the bacterial solution 4, and, in such a state, air to be treated is passed through a layer of the laminated porous bodies 2 in the cylindrical body 1 to purify the air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】空気に含まれる揮発性有機化合物などの有機化合物をより効率良く除去可能な空気浄化技術を提供する。【解決手段】軸を上下に向けて配置され、底面部1Aに空気及び液体が流通可能な複数の開口1Aaを有すると共に内部に複数の多孔質体2が積層された筒体1を有する。連続的若しくは間欠的に、筒体1の上側から下方に向けて、筒体1内に有機物を分解可能な好気性のバクテリアが混入されたバクテリア溶液4を落下させて、複数の多孔質体2をバクテリア溶液4で濡らした状態とし、処理する空気を、上記筒体1内の積層した多孔質体2の層へ通過させることで当該空気の浄化を行う。【選択図】図1
