PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butt section structure of a telescopic rod having high durability by improving a cylindrical holding body conventionally composed of one member such as resin.SOLUTION: The telescopic rod can be changed over between an extension state where an upper butt 2 is pulled out with respect to a butt rod 1 and a storage state where the upper butt 2 is stored in the butt rod 1, and includes a holding mechanism B capable of holding the upper butt in any state of the extension state and the storage state.
