PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article disposed with a second sheet, having excellent urine absorption performance and the like, and, even after absorbing the urine and the like, capable of retaining a top sheet in a relatively dry state.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes a top sheet 2, a back sheet 3, and an absorbent core 4 disposed therebetween, where a second sheet 5 constituted of fibers containing ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer is disposed between the top sheet 2 and the absorbent core 4. The second sheet 5 is preferably constituted of conjugate fibers containing ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer.
