PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative Kagami-mochi (a pair of stacked large and small round flat rice cakes) comprising rice cake filled up in a Kagami-mochi container and formed into round flat rice cakes vertically stacked, capable of being separated into an upper and a lower round flat rice cakes and allowing the round flat rice cakes separated vertically to be taken without cutting by a kitchen knife or the like out.SOLUTION: The decorative Kagami-mochi includes the Kagami-mochi container 1 and a lower Kagami-mochi internally fitted container 4. The Kagami-mochi container 1 is shaped into vertically stacked Kagami-mochi container bodies, and the side circumference of the lower round flat rice cake section of the hollow Kagami-mochi container increases its diameter toward the downward. The lower round flat rice cake internally fitted container is internally fitted to the inner surface of the hollow part of the lower round flat rice cake. The container 1 is filled with the rice cake, and then the lower internally fitted container 4 is placed in the hollow part of the lower round flat rice cake. The internally fitted container section is filled with the rice cake through a lower round flat rice cake opening 5, and then the opening 5 is sealed with a closing wrap 2. After its opening, round flat rice cakes divided vertically can be taken out without cutting with a kitchen knife or the like. The lower internally fitted container 4 includes inside and outside wall which have finely rugged surfaces. Oriented resin can be used for the container.
