PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsifier-containing corn tea beverage with a reduced occurrence of turbidity or sedimentation not only during manufacturing but also over time; and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: In manufacturing of a corn tea beverage, the beverage is treated with an enzyme for decomposing water-soluble starches (e.g., amylase), and then subjected to a filtration treatment with diatomaceous earth as a filter medium, so that a highly palatable corn tea beverage with reduced occurrence of turbidity or sedimentation can be obtained even with addition of, or blending with, an emulsifier. The corn tea beverage obtained by the method is extremely stable with a reduced occurrence of turbidity or sedimentation even after a long-term storage.
