PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transformed plant, the method being capable of effectively introducing a gene into a rubber-producing plant in a short period of time while retaining useful traits of the transgenic plant, and the resulting plant being capable of effectively redifferentiating, thereby producing a genetically modified plant.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a method for producing a transgenic plant for producing a genetically modified plant comprises: a culture step in which a tissue piece derived from a rubber-producing plant is cultured to obtain a cultured tissue piece a transformation step in which the cultured tissue piece obtained in the culture step is transformed using a gene construct and a regeneration step in which a plant is regenerated from the tissue piece transformed in the transformation step. The transformation step includes an infection step in which the cultured tissue piece is cultured together with an Agrobacterium strain transformed with a gene construct, and a bacteria-removing step in which the cultured tissue piece obtained in the infection step is cultured in a bacteria-removing medium containing a Carbapenem antibiotic.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】 ゴム産生植物において、短期間で効率的に遺伝子導入でき、遺伝子導入される植物の有用な形質を保持しながら、目的の遺伝子を導入することが可能な、また、効率的な再分化が可能な、遺伝的に改変された植物体を作製するための形質転換植物体の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 ゴム産生植物由来の組織片を培養して培養組織片を得る培養工程、前記培養工程で得られた培養組織片を遺伝子コンストラクトで形質転換する形質転換工程、前記形質転換工程により形質転換された組織片から植物体を再生する再生工程を含み、該形質転換工程は、前記培養組織片を遺伝子コンストラクトで形質転換されたアグロバクテリウム属菌とともに培養する感染工程、前記感染工程で得られた培養組織片を、カルバペネム系抗生物質を含む除菌培地で培養して、アグロバクテリウム属菌を除菌する除菌工程を含むことを特徴とする遺伝的に改変された植物体を作製するための形質転換植物体の製造方法。【選択図】なし
