PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage apparatus capable of adjusting the position of a leg mounting part accurately corresponding to the length from the knee underside to the heel part of a person to be treated in initial settings.SOLUTION: A massage apparatus 100 includes a seat part 200 for mounting at least the hip of a person to be treated, a leg mounting part 900 for supporting at least a sole part of a leg part of the person to be treated, an actuator 910 capable of expanding and contracting the leg mounting part 900, a femur back pressure sensor 281 disposed between the seat part 200 and the leg mounting part 900 for detecting a knee back part of the person to be treated or a back part of the femur of the person to be treated, and a control part 600 for controlling the actuator 910 according to a detection result from the femur back pressure sensor 281 and pressure sensors 981 and 982.
