PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to efficiently cultivate a plant by reducing energy required for sterilizing a nutrient solution.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device includes a cultivation tank (101) for cultivating a plant in a nutrient solution, and a nutrient solution-supplying unit (102) for supplying the nutrient solution by circulation to the cultivation tank (101). The nutrient solution-supplying unit (102) has a nutrient solution sterilization unit (103), the nutrient solution sterilization unit (103) has a sterilization tank (61), a discharge unit (62) for generating electric discharge, an ultrasonic wave generating unit (94) for irradiating with ultrasonic waves the nutrient solution in the sterilization tank (61) and a warming unit (105) for warming the nutrient solution in the sterilization tank (61). The discharge unit (62) is constituted to have an electric pair (64, 65, 464, 465, 564, 565, 664, 665) and a power source unit (70), and generate hydrogen peroxide through hydroxy radicals in the nutrient solution by electric discharge.
