PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to more efficiently decompose causative substances of stains in piping or nutrient solutions and sterilize various germs.SOLUTION: There is provided a purification device for nutrient solutions of a hydroponic system (10) comprising a purification tank (61), a discharging unit (62) placed in the purification tank (61) and performing discharge in the nutrient solution and an ultrasonic wave generating unit (94) for irradiating with ultrasonic waves the nutrient solution in the purification tank (61). The discharging unit (62) is constituted to comprise an electrode pair (64, 65, 464, 465, 564, 565, 664, 665) and a power source unit (70) for applying voltage to the electrode pair (64, 65, 464, 465, 564, 565, 664, 665) and generate hydroxy radicals in the nutrient solution by electric discharge.
