PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection element and a radiation imaging device capable of providing an optimum resolution and imaging speed depending on the application, while suppressing up-sizing.SOLUTION: A radiation detection element is configured so that TFTs 2 of multiple pixels 20 in the column direction are connected with the same signal wiring D. In the case of video imaging, the TFTs 2 of pixels 20 are turned on by outputting a control signal from control wiring M, and the charges are read from a sensor 13. Since the charges are taken out while considering the 2 pixels×2 pixels as one pixel, the frame rate can be enhanced although the resolution decreases compared with a still image.
