PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover a pulp fiber from used sanitary articles including the pulp fiber and a polymer absorber.SOLUTION: A method for recovering a pulp fiber from used sanitary articles comprises: a step to decompose a polymer absorber by immersing the used sanitary articles in ozone water； a step to obtain the residue of the sanitary articles from which the polymer absorber is removed by discharging ozone water in which decomposed polymer absorber is dissolved； and a step to wash the residue of the sanitary articles and to decompose the residue of the sanitary articles to components by agitating the residue of the sanitary articles from which the polymer absorber is removed in an aqueous solution containing a disinfectant or water.【課題】パルプ繊維および高分子吸収材を含む使用済み衛生用品からパルプ繊維を効率的に回収する。【解決手段】本発明の方法は、使用済み衛生用品をオゾン水に浸漬して、高分子吸収材を分解する工程、分解した高分子吸収材が溶けたオゾン水を排出して、高分子吸収材が取り除かれた衛生用品の残渣を得る工程、および高分子吸収材が取り除かれた衛生用品の残渣を、消毒薬を含む水溶液中または水中で攪拌することにより、衛生用品の残渣を洗浄するとともに衛生用品の残渣を構成要素に分解する工程を含む。【選択図】なし
