The present invention relates to a red ginseng slice and a production method there. Conventional red ginseng slice has high saponin content in a production process of red ginseng, and thus the consumer′s preference is low due to bitter taste at the time of taking. In order to overcome this problem, the red ginseng slice of the present invention has high saponin, is less bitter and is easy to carry through a lyophilization process of the red ginseng.본 발명은 홍삼 절편 및 이의 제조 방법에 관한 발명으로 더욱 상세하게 홍삼의 제조 과정에서 사포닌 함량이 높아져 복용시 쓴맛이 많아 소비자 기호도가 낮아 지는데, 이를 극복하기 위해 홍삼을 동결건조 과정을 통해 고사포닌이면서 쓴 맛이 적고 휴대가 간편하게 할 수 있는, 홍삼 절편 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 발명이다.
