PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening system intended for effectively restraining outflow of rainwater from an artificial building while reducing heat island phenomenon through greening the artificial building, and facilitating water supply management and maintenance. SOLUTION: This greening system is such that a bottom water storage tank 4 is set through a pedestal 3 on a rooftop 2 of a building; a greening layer 6 for raising plants is set through an isolation plate 5 having a prescribed number of small holes 5a on the bottom water storage tank 4; a lower water storage tank 10 is set adjacently to the tank set with the greening layer 6; and rainwater which flows out from an overflow part 9 formed on the tank set with the greening layer 6 is directly stored in the lower water storage tank 10. Furthermore, an upper water storage tank 11 is set on the lower water storage tank 10, and water in the lower water storage tank 10 is supplied to the upper water storage tank 11 with a lifting pump 13 and a pumping hose 14. Water in the upper water storage tank 11 is sprinkled in a drop condition through natural falling from small holes 19a of a sprinkle pipe 19 to plants 7 and soil 8 by opening an opening closing valve 18.
