The invention presents a device of removing exhaust odor comprising a dust collection device, at least an exhaust collection wind pipe, a reaction chamber and a discharge pipe. The exhaust collection wind pipe and the dust collection device are connected. At least an exhaust collection wind pipe includes a wind mill installed in the exhaust collection wind pipe. The reaction chamber is disposed to the other end connected to the exhaust collection wind pipe relative to the dust collection device. The reaction chamber comprises a settlement deodorization area, a detention area near the settlement deodorization area and a filter net disposed between the settlement deodorization area and the detention area. The discharge pipe is installed in the detention area. The invention also presents a method of removing exhaust odor to collect dust within exhaust by using the dust collection device, adding ozone, spraying deodorant, filtering by using filter net, and discharging gas.
