A nasal mask (2) for ventilation, brought into contact with the face of the user and supplying positive pressure gas for ventilation to the nose of the user. The nasal mask (2) is made up of at least an intimate contact section (2b) coming into intimate contact with the face of the user and an elastic connection section (2a) for elastically connecting the intimate contact section (2b) and a frame installation section (2c) together. Even when positive pressure for ventilation is not applied, the face side and the frame installation section side of the elastic connection section (2a) are spaced apart from each other by a required distance. The nasal mask (2) for ventilation is advantageous that it can be installed on an appropriate position without application of positive pressure when the installation is started, does not obstruct the field of view of the user, and dries quickly after daily washing to avoid unsanitary conditions.
