PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage tester for an endoscope which permits an imperfect water tightness of the closed condition of a check valve installed on the outer wall of the endoscope to be sensed and can more completely prevent a water leakage accident.

SOLUTION: The leakage tester for an endoscope has a check valve connector 37 attached to a check valve 10 from outside with the check valve 10 closed, a pressurized air supply means 31 to deliver pressurized air into the closed space formed oppositely to the outside of the check valve 10 by the installation of the check valve connector 37 and a pressure measuring means 34 to measure pressure in the space, and delivers pressurized air into the space by the pressurized air supply means 31, and senses whether or not air leaks in the check valve 10 from a pressure change measured by the pressure measuring means 34.
