The present invention addresses the problem of providing an electric-heating griddle apparatus for grilling spherical foods, the apparatus being capable of shortening spherical food grilling time. This electric-heating griddle apparatus for grilling spherical foods is provided with: a cast-iron griddle part (2) that has a flat upper surface (2a) and a flat lower surface (2b) and that has a prescribed thickness between the upper surface (2a) and the lower surface (2b); and an electric-heating part (3) that is connected to the griddle part (2) with a heat transfer surface (3a) being in close contact with the lower surface of the griddle part (2), wherein the griddle part (2) is configured such that a plurality of recesses (21) for grilling spherical foods (takoyaki)(W) are formed so as to be recessed from the upper surface (2a), and the electric-heating part (3) is configured such that the heat transfer part (3a) has a spread substantially coincident with the lower surface (2a) of the griddle part (2).
