PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a sea tangle extract-containing composition capable of stably imparting a sea tangle flavor or favorable appearance to food for a long period of time even when it is mixed as a food ingredient.SOLUTION: A method for producing a sea tangle extract-containing composition includes a step of adding and mixing an organic acid and/or a salt to the sea tangle extract so that an organic acid concentration and a salt concentration after mixing are 2-17.5 mass% and 2.5-22 mass%, respectively for adjusting a mixed liquid, and a step of filtering the mixed liquid obtained by the adding and mixing step for adjusting filtrate.
