PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis support device that uses fluorescence lifetime in distinguishing such lesions as neoplastic lesions without being influenced by fluorescence absorptive substances like blood, etc.
SOLUTION: The diagnosis support device 71 includes a light source 72 to emit exciting light for its irradiation to a subject, a detector 73 to detect fluorescence generated in the subject by irradiating the exciting light, a fluorescence lifetime calculator 74 to calculate first and second fluorescence lifetimes based on the detected fluorescence, and a lesion distinguishing means 75 to distinguish the lesions based on the first and second fluorescence lifetimes.
