PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up a dose distribution calculation in a radiotherapy treatment planning device.SOLUTION: The treatment planning device provided with a first arithmetic unit and a second arithmetic unit determines which of these arithmetic units can perform more high-speed calculation based on the information on the size and calculation resolution of an irradiation target, and the determined arithmetic unit performs a calculation.
