PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic diagnostic apparatus capable of acquiring an image with an excellent diagnostic capability by measuring different fluorescence characteristics depending on an observed region of a subject and the state of lesion (the stage of progression, etc.) with measuring light in advance and by performing autogenous fluorescent observation based on optimum observation conditions.SOLUTION: The endoscopic diagnostic apparatus includes: a light source part 12 for emitting at least two kinds of excitation light with different center wavelengths an imaging part for acquiring an autogenous fluorescent image a contrast calculation means 69 for calculating a contrast based on the autogenous fluorescent image acquired in the pre-imaging by the imaging part and an imaging condition determining means 71 for determining an imaging condition for main imaging based on the contrast. The imaging part executes the pre-imaging a plurality of times to acquire a plurality of autogenous fluorescent images. The contrast calculation means 69 calculates a plurality of contrasts acquired in the pre-imaging.
