In this case, the imaging portions (101, 102) capture a first biometric image (501) used in biometric authentication, and a second biometric image (502) used to calculate a correction coefficient based on which the first biometric image (501) is corrected. The control portion (110) calculates the correction coefficient, and corrects the first biometric image (501) by using the correction coefficient.
