PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal rearing system in which the rearing of animals is automated.SOLUTION: An animal rearing system concerning an embodiment includes a rack, a transfer robot, a thermocamera (camera) and an indication unit. Animal rearing cages are stored in the rack. The transfer robot has a hand (robot hand) including a holding mechanism for the cages being objects to be transferred. The camera is provided in the vicinity of the hand.
