Wearable device featuring detection of tightness changes improving the stability and reliability in calculating the heart rate without affecting the comfort of wearing due to the adjustment of wearing tightness
A wearable device capable of detecting tightness changes includes an annular belt which can tightly or loosely surround a body, a carrier attached to the annular belt, a light sensation unit sensing heartbeat changes of an animal by means of light and sending out a sensing signal, a metal member disposed in the carrier, and a control module. The metal member is capable of generating electrical induction with a skin surface and movable between a proximal position adjacent to or away from the skin surface and a first distant position. The control module reads a tightness coordination signal or a first response signal when the metal member is located at the proximal position or the distant position, then calculates a measurement value related to the heart rate according to the sensing signal, and calculates a first heart rate value or generates a warning message based on this measurement value according to a first compensation mechanism corresponding to the first response signal.
