PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus photography apparatus capable of acquiring a fundus tomographic image by suitably controlling photographing conditions.SOLUTION: The fundus photography apparatus includes: an interference optical system for splitting a light flux emitted from a light source into measurement light and reference light and detecting the state of interference between the measurement light and the reference light reflected on fundus by using a detector an optical scanner for scanning the measurement light on the fundus and a drive means for driving an optical member disposed to adjust an optical path length. The fundus photography apparatus picks up a tomographic image of eyes on the basis of an output signal from the detector. The apparatus further includes: a first optical path length adjusting means for controlling the drive means to move the optical member, and moving the optical member to a position where the fundus tomographic images are acquired on the basis of the output signal from the detector at each of the positions of the optical member a second optical path length adjusting means for re-adjusting the position of the optical member from the position adjusted by the first optical path length adjusting means and an optical adjusting means for adjusting the interference optical system between the first and second optical path length adjusting means.
