The present invention relates to a novel 3,4,5-trimethoxy cinnamic acid ester derivative, to a manufacturing method thereof and to a skin whitening composition comprising the same. The compound shows a skin whitening effect by acting on tyrosinase, which is a melanin producing enzyme, to suppress the production of melanin, and exhibits an improved skin whitening effect compared with kojic acid which has been previously known as an existing skin whitening agent, and thus the composition of the present invention can be variously applied to all kinds of cosmetic products or externally-applicable dermal preparations for skin whitening.본 발명은 신규한 3,4,5-트리메톡시 신남산 에스테르 유도체, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 미백용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다.상기 화합물은 멜라닌을 생성하는 효소인 티로시나제에 작용하여 멜라닌의 생산을 억제함으로써 피부 미백효과를 나타내며, 기존에 피부 미백제로 알려진 코지산에 비하여 향상된 피부 미백 효과를 나타내, 피부 미백을 위한 각종 화장품이나 피부 외용제 등에 다양하게 적용될 수 있다.
