PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter capable of automatically adjusting an amount of taken-out seedlings or adjusting the planting depth, from the outside.SOLUTION: A rice transplanter includes: an amount-of-taken-out-seedling adjustment mechanism 4 that adjusts an amount of taken-out seedlings when seedlings placed on a seedling tray 12 are taken out by a planting claw 301； an amount-of-taken-out-seedling manual adjustment unit 6 that manually adjusts the amount of seedlings taken out by the amount-of-taken-out-seedling adjustment mechanism 4 based on an operation of an operator； and an amount-of-taken-out-seedling automatic adjustment unit 7 that automatically adjusts the amount of seedlings taken out by the amount-of-taken-out-seedling adjustment mechanism 4 based on an external signal.
