PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide culture soil permitting practical use of kitchen garbage, organic fertilizers, or organic matter as nutrients for plants.SOLUTION: A mixture of kitchen garbage or the like and microorganisms is made into a spherical shape to be provided as the culture soil. For example, a granulator is charged with organic waste made of dried kitchen garbage and rice bran and black soil and mixes them, and further mixes them while optionally adding water, into the spherical shape. With this spherical culture soil, the organic matter does not cause damage from bird feed or the growth of insects. The soil has an aggregated structure considered as good soil, so that the fertilizer retaining property, draining property, and air-permeability can be improved, and an appropriate water retaining property can be retained. The organic matter is gradually changed over time while being protected by the soil and finally changed into a substance necessary for plants as nutrients, so that the organic matter does not rot or generate malodor on the way.
