PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet wipe or a wet towel which does not cause a rough skin even when used for wiping hands, a body, or the like of a human being, can be stored for a long period of time, and is excellent in each of characteristics of hygiene, disinfection, deodorization, antibacterial properties, and antiviral properties.SOLUTION: A wet wipe 10 has a hardly water-soluble tissue paper 10S composed of a non-woven fabric containing moisture (a liquid) as a base material. A plurality of (a lot of) platinum nanoparticles 1 are mixed and contained in the tissue paper 10S. Each of the platinum nanoparticles 1 is a particle of platinum (a particle of a precious metal) having a nanosized particle diameter. A sheet of the wet wipe 10 is tightly sealed and stored in a prescribed package (for example, a plastic storage container or a storage bag such as a plastic film).
