PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hallux valgus correction method and footwear for hallux valgus that can correct hallux valgus by a simple method.SOLUTION: In the hallux valgus correction method, in the sole member 1 of the footwear on which the sole of the foot abuts on corresponding to at least the belly 40a of the hallux abductor 40, there is provided a slope 11 that is inclined downward from the inner to the outer side of the foot and that has an inclined angle &theta of 40-60° to the horizontal plane.
