PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laver dehydrating member that is excellent in dehydration performance for a laver manufacturing process comprising pressing for dehydration, while being sanitary because it can be easily washed, and capable of keeping long-term running costs low, and to provide a method of dehydrating laver using the member.SOLUTION: An open-cell spongy body of a dehydrating unit and an elastic body having compression restorability are stacked together, and a laver dehydrating member is formed by stacking together the open-cell spongy body of the dehydrating unit and the elastic body having compression restorability. Also, the thickness of the open-cell spongy body is 1/8 to 1/2 the thickness of the elastic body which is a compressible portion of the laver dehydrating member. Further, the elastic body is an open-cell sponge.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】押圧して脱水する海苔製造工程において、脱水性能が優れると共に、容易に洗浄を行うことが可能で、衛生的であり、さらに長期のランニングコストも低く抑えられる海苔製脱水部材及び当該部材を使用した海苔脱水方法を提供するものである。【解決手段】脱水部の連続気泡スポンジ体と圧縮復元性を有する弾性体を積層し脱水部の連続気泡スポンジ体と圧縮復元性を有する弾性体を積層して作成した。また、前記連続気泡スポンジ体の厚みが、当該海苔脱水用部材の圧縮可能部である前記弾性体の厚みの1/8~1/2であることとした。さらに、前記弾性体が、独立気泡スポンジであることとした。【選択図】図1
