PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for producing laver, preventing a decrease in a dehydrating ability, caused by clogging of a sponge and an increase in labor required for sponge cleaning work.SOLUTION: This machine for producing laver includes a dehydrating device 6 which pinches laver dough 10 spread on a laver drainboard 2 with a papermaking device by an upper pressure mechanism 11 and a lower water absorption mechanism 12 so as to dehydrate the laver dough. The water absorption mechanism is such that a sponge 21 is arranged on the upper part of a suctionably formed suction body 20, while a recessed part 25 and a projecting part 26 are formed on the upper surface of the sponge, and a suction hole 27 communicated with the suction body is formed on the recessed part. Furthermore, the projecting part of the sponge is restored to the original condition by lifting the suction body in a suction state to arrange close to the laver drainboard, stopping lifting and lowering while keeping the suction body in a suction state followed by lowering the pressure mechanism so as to make the projecting part of the sponge the same in height as the recessed part, and lifting the pressure mechanism.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】スポンジの目詰まりによる脱水能力の低減やスポンジの清浄作業に要する労力の増大を防止することができる海苔製造機を提供する。【解決手段】抄製装置で海苔簀2に抄製した海苔生地10を上方の押圧機構11と下方の吸水機構12とで挟圧して海苔生地の脱水を行う脱水装置6を備えた海苔製造機において、吸水機構は、吸引可能に構成した吸引体20の上部にスポンジ21を配設し、スポンジの上面に凹部25と凸部26とを形成するとともに、凹部に吸引体へ連通する吸引孔27を形成する。また、吸引体を吸引状態として上昇させて海苔簀に近接させ、吸引体を吸引状態のまま昇降を停止した後に押圧機構をスポンジの凸部が凹部と同じ高さとなるまで下降させ、その後、押圧機構を上昇させてスポンジの凸部を元の状態に復元させる。【選択図】図2
