PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress separation between a core wrap sheet and an absorbent core in an absorber including compressed grooves formed in the core wrap sheet and absorber core.SOLUTION: An absorber 30 includes: an absorbent core 31 having at least granular absorbent polymers 31b； and a core wrap sheet 32 for covering the absorbent core 31, where one or a plurality of compressed grooves 40 are formed in the thickness direction across at least the core wrap sheet 32 and the absorbent core 31.
