PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in fitting nature and dry feeling of a skin-facing surface.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes: a front surface sheet 2 for forming a skin-facing surface； a rear surface sheet 3 for forming a non-skin-facing surface； and an absorbent body 4 positioned between the sheets 2, 3. The absorbent body 4 comprises: an absorbent core 40 that contains a water-absorbent polymer and does not substantially contain hydrophilic fibers； an upper-side core wrap sheet 45 for covering the skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 40； and a lower-side core wrap sheet 46 for covering the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 40.
