PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article of high quality whose entire absorber can efficiently absorb by suppressing high-speed flow of fluid to be absorbed, such as body fluid, along grooves provided in a back and forth direction of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 10 includes an absorber 11 absorbing body fluid, a top sheet 13 which is positioned on the surface (skin contact) side of the absorber and can transmit the body fluid, and a back sheet 14 which is positioned on the back surface (skin non-contact) side of the top sheet of the absorber and cannot transmit the body fluid.
