PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine which effectively gives a massage to muscles on the upper side of an arm and enables a user to use in a relaxed manner since the chair type massage machine has fewer restrictions on positions of the arm to be treated.SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine includes a seat surface 3, a backrest 2, and an armrest 4. The chair type massage machine is equipped with air bags 7, 8, 9 which are inflated and deflated by an air pressure on both facing surfaces of the armrest 4 and a wall 6 provided above the armrest 4 at an interval. A plurality of the air bags 8, 9 provided on the lower surface of the wall 6 which is located above the armrest 4 where a hand and the arm are placed and faces the upper surface of the armrest 4 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the arm when the arm is placed on the armrest 4. The hand and arm inserted between the armrest 4 and the wall 6 are massaged by inflating the plurality of air bags 8, 9 arranged in the longitudinal direction of the arm separately by shifting the timing while the wall 6 provided above the armrest 4 is fixed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】腕の上側の筋肉を効果的にマッサージでき、且つ施療する腕の位置に制約が少なく使用者がリラックスして使用できる椅子式マッサージ機を提供する。【解決手段】座面3、背もたれ2、肘掛け4を備えた椅子式マッサージ機である。これにいおいて、肘掛け4と、肘掛け4の上方に間隔を隔てて設けられた壁6との対向する面の双方に、空気圧により膨張・収縮可能な空気袋7,8,9を備えており、手および腕が置かれる肘掛け4の上面に対向する上方の壁6の下面に設けられた空気袋8,9は、肘掛け4に腕を置くときの腕の長手方向に複数配列されており、肘掛け4の上方に設けられた壁6が固定された状態で、腕の長手方向に配列された複数の空気袋8,9がタイミングをずらして別々に膨張されることで、肘掛け4と壁6との間に入れた手および腕がマッサージされるように設けた。【選択図】図1
