PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea beverage that can inhibit a taste like starch glue possessed by indigestible dextrin while suppressing a caffeine content to a low level.SOLUTION: The tea beverage has an indigestible dextrin content of at least 5 g/L, a caffeine content of at most 30 mg/L (including 0), a starch content of at least 170 mg/100 ml and a mass ratio of the starch content to the indigestible dextrin content of at least 0.085.
