PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical container excellent in solvent resistance, low gas permeability, heat resistance and the like, and to provide a method for treating the medical container.SOLUTION: The medical container made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin and a container inner surface part in contact with a liquid is leached low by light irradiation and/or plasma irradiation. A wavelength of irradiation light is within a range of 350 to 450 nm. The medical container is a barrel or an injector.
