PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an array vibrator by cutting a vibrator blank bonded to a circuit board with a cutting tool.SOLUTION: Grooves 38 are formed at a vibrator bonding plane 36 of a circuit board 16. A vibrator blank containing a layer of a piezoelectric element material is bonded to the vibrator bonding plane 36. The vibrator blank is cut with a cutting tool at positions of the grooves 38 and individual vibrators 12 are cut out to produce an array vibrator 14.
