PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disconnection of a wire while an optical scanning endoscope is assembled.SOLUTION: An optical scanning endoscope comprises: a control circuit for generating a control signal which controls the supply of drive power by a circuit board of a scanning optical unit and a shield cable for transferring the control signal from the control circuit to the circuit board. The circuit board is disposed parallel to a longitudinal direction of an optical fiber such that its back side is opposed to the optical fiber, and has on its front side a plural solder lands to connect a shield cable and a plurality of wiring patterns. The shield cable is soldered to the plurality of solder lands along the surface of the circuit board, and is wired to extend in the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber.
