CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a red pepper paste Berchemia berchemiaefolia roots comprises the steps of: preparing 13wt% of wheat, 13wt% of barley, 13wt% of bean, 28wt% of red pepper powder, 2wt% of glutinous rice, 31wt% of rice syrup, 3wt% of saline, loess water, and Berchemia berchemiaefolia roots； producing an extract of Berchemia berchemiaefolia roots by boiling the loess water with Berchemia berchemiaefolia roots； boiling the extract of Berchemia berchemiaefolia roots with the prepared wheat, barley, bean, and glutinous rice powder for 5 hours； keeping the obtained raw material at a low temperature for a day； boiling the raw material again and mixing the prepared wheat, barley, bean, red pepper powder, and rice syrup in a fixed ratio； and manufacturing a red pepper paste by aging the mixed material at a low temperature for 7 days.
