PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently extracting Buah Merah oil contained in the Buah Merah oil, suitable for healthy food, cosmetics, chicken-raising feed and treatment of various kinds of cancers (lung, skin, tongue, large intestine, prostate, uterine neck, bladder, melanoma and neuroblast), osteoporosis, rheumatism, diabetic, hypohepatia, arteriosclerosis or the like, originated from a natural plant, and exhibiting high safety without producing trans fatty acid harmful to health.
SOLUTION: The method for extracting the Buah Merah oil includes separating the fruit from receptacle by boiling the fruit of the Buah Merah with boiled water or steaming the fruit, simultaneously removing a fibrous membrane between the fruit and the receptacle, removing a seed from the separated fruit, adding water and stirring the resultant mixture while heating at &le100°C, or drying the fruit, and squeezing the oil after removing the seed, or extracting the Buah Merah oil in the cells of flesh by using a natural vegetable oil free from the trans fatty acid.
