PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an inhibitor for blood sugar level elevation suitable for suppressing the rise of a blood sugar level, and an inhibitor for blood sugar level elevation obtained by the production method.SOLUTION: There are provided a production method of an inhibitor for blood sugar level elevation including: a mixing process of mixing decayed soil of earthworm and water and a recovery process of recovering vaporized water which is generated from mixture obtained in the mixing process to obtain liquid, and an inhibitor for blood sugar level elevation obtained by the production method.
