The present invention provides a packaged rice mass in the shape of a bar which deforms less when placed in a horizontal direction and hardly sags when placed in a vertical direction. The packaged rice mass in the shape of a bar of the present invention is manufactured by wrapping a circumferential side of a bar-shaped rice mass (7) with a wrapping sheet (1). The wrapping sheet has a protrusion part (11) which protrudes farther than the bar-shaped rice mass (7) in a lengthwise direction. The inside of the protrusion part becomes a cylindrical shape, while the bar-shaped rice mass is wrapped by the wrapping sheet, and is made of a material hard enough to prevent the bar-shaped rice mass on the bottom from being deformed when a plurality of the wrapped bar-shaped rice masses are stacked. The packaged rice mass in the shape of a bar includes: a lid (42) which covers the whole cross-section (72) of the bar-shaped rice mass； ear pieces (44), which are extended from an edge of a circumference of the lid (42) and bent toward an outermost edge of the protrusion part； the adhesive parts (45) which are formed on the ear pieces and have outer circumferential sides to which double-sided tapes or an adhesive are attached； and a cover (4) which is joined with the wrapping sheet as the lid covers the cross-section of the bar-shaped rice mass and the ear pieces are attached to the inside of the protrusion part.본 발명은, 가로로 두었을 때에 봉형상 밥덩어리의 변형이 적고, 세로로 두었을 때에, 봉형상 밥덩어리가 늘어지기 어려운 봉형상 포장 밥덩어리를 제공한다. 본 발명의 봉형상 포장 밥덩어리는, 봉형상 밥덩어리(7)의 둘레면을 포장 시트(1)에 의해 싸서 형성되는 봉형상 포장 밥덩어리로서, 포장 시트는, 봉형상 밥덩어리(7)보다 길이 방향으로 돌출된 돌출부(11)를 가지며, 포장 시트에 의해 봉형상 밥덩어리를 포장한 상태로 통형이 되는 돌출부의 내면에는, 봉형상 포장 밥덩어리(8)를 복수개 쌓았을 때에, 최하단의 봉형상 밥덩어리가 변형되지 않는 단단함을 가지는 재료에 의해 구성되고, 봉형상 밥덩어리의 단면(72)의 전체를 덮는 덮개(42)와, 덮개의 둘레 가장자리로부터 연장 설치되고, 돌출부의 끝 가장자리를 향해 절곡된 이편(44)이며, 이편에는, 외주측의 면에 양면 테이프나 접착제가 붙여진 접착부가 형성되고, 덮개가 봉형상 밥덩어리의 단면을 덮고, 이편을 접착부(45)에 의해 돌출부의 내면에 접착하여, 포장 시트에 장착되는 커버(4)를 구비한다.
