PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad-shaped absorbent article having high fitting property.SOLUTION: A pad-shaped absorbent article comprises a liquid permeable surface sheet, a rear surface sheet, an absorber and an adhesive part, and has a vertical direction corresponding to the longitudinal direction of a wearer, and a lateral direction orthogonal to the vertical direction. The absorbent core has a front core part, a rear core part, and an intermediate core part positioned between the front core part and the rear core part, and formed narrower than the front core part and the rear core part by a pair of constriction areas. The intermediate core part is constituted so that a front half part and a rear half part divided by a straight line dividing into two in the vertical direction become mutually asymmetrical about the straight line.
