PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can prevent leakage of a liquid in a rear part.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes an absorbent core having a front part, an intermediate part, and a rear part arranged side by side in a longitudinal direction, a surface sheet arranged on the absorbent core, and a compressed groove part formed from a side of the surface sheet. The absorbent core further includes a core groove part having a first thick groove part which is provided in the rear part in the longitudinal direction and is positioned in a central part in a width direction and a pair of second thick groove parts positioned on both sides of the first thick groove part in the width direction. The compressed groove part includes a first intersecting part intersecting the first thick groove part and a pair of second intersecting parts intersecting the pair of the second thick groove parts.
